Gold Medal has started 2013 with a price match promise for agents making package bookings. The promise applies to bookings comprising a minimum of a scheduled flight and a hotel and if agents find an identical like-for-like package cheaper with a trade facing competitor, Gold Medal will match it.
Should an agent find a long haul scheduled package cheaper with a trade competitor, all they need to do is supply evidence such as a screen shot or quote detailing the airline, departure date, departure times, flight numbers, booking class and hotel room type and board basis and when received, Gold Medal will match the price excluding Airline Failure Protection, ATOL protection contribution charges and agent commission.
Agents should note that the guarantee applies only to current quotes from equivalent trade operators and not to bed banks, direct sell quotes, or to pre-priced brochured package holidays.
