Go behind the scenes as the Hollywood Sign celebrates its 100th anniversary

Los Angeles Tourism has spotlighted a choice of attractions allowing visitors to follow in the footsteps of Hollywood legends.

In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Los Angeles' most recognised symbol, the Hollywood Sign, Los Angeles Tourism is showcasing the star-studded attractions that give a behind-the-scenes look at the glitz and glamour of the City of Angels.

“From the Golden Age of Hollywood to the beating heart of today’s entertainment industry, The Hollywood Sign has presided over a century of Los Angeles history and allure,” said Adam Burke, President & CEO of the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board.

“We are eager to welcome visitors from around the globe to come celebrate The Hollywood Sign in its 100th year and revel in all the exceptional experiences that can only be found in Los Angeles.”

Warner Bros. Studio Tours offers up the chance to wander the Gilmore Girls' hometown of Stars Hollow, Friends' Central Perk Café, locales from the classic Casablanca and a whole host more.

Universal Studios Hollywood features a tram tour hosted by Jimmy Fallon, driving through the largest set project in studio history (from Steven Spielberg's 'War of the Worlds'), the Bates Motel of Psycho fame, Back To The Future's Hill Valley and Amity from Jaws.

Paramount Pictures Studio Tour pulls back the curtain on the longest-operating studio in Hollywood, one that has seen the likes of Cecil B. DeMille, Bing Crosby, the Marx Brothers and Elvis Presley all walking its faux streets.

Sony Pictures Studio Tours lets guests follow in the footsteps of the stars of The Wizard of Oz, Men in Black, and Spider-Man, with a studio museum alongside a set tour.

The most exclusive of the studio tour option, Walt Disney Studos in Burbank, offers limited tours through D23 Events, Disney Movie Insider Awards and Adventures by Disney.
