Global capitalises on turn of year campaign

The Global Travel Group is hoping to kickstart 2018 by helping members capitalise on the upcoming peak booking period.

As part of its new Live For Travel campaign, which runs from January through to March, the travel consortium will be giving agents all the promotional materials they need to maximise sales during this lucrative season.

The activity comes on the back of new figures that show sales for the group?s members are up by more than 20% in 2017. The Indian Ocean has been performing especially well for agents, with Mauritius leading the charge closely followed the Maldives, whilst the United Arab Emirates has proved another stand-out destination, with bookings up more than 50%. Cruise continues to perform well for the group with sales increasing year-on-year.

The consortium is also considering a fresh new look to reflect its forward-looking industry approach.
