Serenity Holidays has released its new Travel Agent training schedule for the first quarter of 2016, along with the opportunity for participating agents to win prizes.
Training is offered to agents via webinar sessions, meaning they can participate without having to leave their desk.
Tailored sessions of around 30 minutes are provided for each of the operator?s destinations, where agents will learn more about the resorts, featured properties, key selling points and benefits to their customers.
Gill Synnuck, agency sales executive for the company said: ?Since launching our webinar programme 18 months ago we?ve run over 250 training sessions reaching in excess of 2,000 agents. Feedback from participants has been excellent, and from our perspective we?ve seen an uplift in bookings from agents after they?ve have attended a webinar. For our Gambia programme, of the agents who had not previously booked clients with us, more than half have gone on to subsequently make bookings?
To kick off the 2016 programme, the operator will be giving away spot prizes to participating agents, including Nespresso coffee machines, Fitbit Zips and digital radios.
