G Adventures unveils 'Where to Travel' list for 2023

As the industry moves from one strong booking period to another, G Adventures is showcasing destinations and experiences for 2023 that offer affordability and added value.

G Adventures 'Where to Travel' list for 2023 highlights adventurous destinations across the world that guarantee affordability and in-destination added value, along with authentic experiences that give back to their local communities.

Bruce Poon Tip, founder of G Adventures, explained: “Our Where to Travel list this year focuses on value and giving back to local communities. There’s still a lot of pent-up demand for travel, and people have discretionary income from not travelling for two years, but the economic uncertainty is still present.

“Travellers have changed what they are looking for - travel is building back differently, and better. It’s going to be so important to continue with that focus no matter what happens economically this year,” says Poon Tip.

Sri Lanka tops the 'Where to Travel' list, where the impact of Covid-19 and the ensuing economic crisis has severely impacted tourism while also guaranteeing greater value for money for foreign travellers. G Adventures offers an eight-day 'Sri Lanka Express' trip from £999 per person.

Other destinations on the list include Turkey (G Adventures' eight-day 'Best of Turkey' trip starts from £799 per person), Japan (the 11-day 'Backroads of Japan' starts from £2,849 per person), Peru, Thailand, Morocco, Mexico, Egypt, South Africa, and the Balkans.
