PortAventura Entertainment S.A.U. has reached a licensing agreement with Ferrari S.p.A. to establish Ferrari Land, a new theme park dedicated to the global brand within the PortAventura resort near Barcelona, Spain.

The new site (expected to open in 2016) will be the only one of its kind in Europe and will receive a total investment of more than ?100million.
The park will feature several rides, including the highest and fastest vertical accelerator in Europe. It will also offer a hotel featuring 250 guestrooms, as well as restaurants, shops and large simulation areas for car racing.
The park also launched its Angkor ride this year, which takes visitors on a boat trip through a jungle to face a number of challenges.
