The escorted tour company has launched the new guided tour which covers the Royal Family-favourites across the historic towns and jaw-dropping scenery of the Scottish Highlands.
Royal Caledonian is a seven-night adventure that begins with an overnight journey from London before guests can enjoy a jam-packed roster of escorted tours and a wide array of activities in one of Britain’s more picturesque destinations.
Included in the tour is a visit to Balmoral to stand where the kings and queens of the past spent their holidays, a trip to the UK’s only working cooperage and whiskey distillery, and a chance to step back into the golden days of steam locomotives with an excursion on the Strathspey Railway.
Richard Forde, head of Trade Sales at Newmarket Holidays, said: “With the King’s coronation approaching, we are seeing lots of interest in tours that have links to the Royals. The Scottish highlands has been a favourite destination of the family for nearly 200 years and the chance to visit Balmoral is one that really piques people’s curiosity.”
Royal Caledonian is available for departures through September and October 2023, with prices starting from £883pp, including savings of 10%, which is valid on all of the operator’s Scenery & Nature tours until May 2, 2023.
