Experience Travel Group (ETG) has appointed Abi Northage as the companys first agents relationship manager with an aim to increase agents bookings.
The role has been created as the London-based company has witnessed 20% growth in bookings from travel agent partners in the past year, while agents' bookings account for 17% of the company's business.
Abi, who has been with the company for a year in a customer-focused role, starts tomorrow, June 18, with the immediate purpose of strengthening ETG's relationships with its existing agents.
Abi had a 20-year career with British Airways serving as a cabin service director on both long and short haul flights before moving to BA's HQ as innovations learning and design manager and trainer.
With this role, ETG is looking to improve its relationship with travel agent partners and help bolster their sales in a range of holidays across Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Malaysian Borneo, Burma (Myanmar), Maldives, Indonesia and India.
Agents will now be able to receive dedicated marketing collateral and resources, online webinar and training support, and opportunities to have face-to-face meetings that provide solutions among other benefits.
