European Waterways offers discounts on selected Spring cruises

European Waterways is offering up to 20% off on cabin and charter prices on selected Spring cruises in France, Italy and Scotland this year.

Guests will get an opportunity to enjoy the wines featured in its French and Italian cruises, as well as the Scottish whiskies aboard the hotel barges in the Scottish Highlands.

The specials are applicable to a range of departures and represent savings of up to ?12,000 per charter and ?1,158 per person, based on double occupancy. These are available only when booked by February 17.

Fourteen vessels are participating in the special offer. Among them is the eight-passenger Rosa, which cruises Gascony and Bordeaux; the eight-passenger L?Art de Vivre on the Lower Nivernais Canal and the River Yonne in Burgundy, France; and the eight-passenger Scottish Highlander, which cruises the Caledonian Canal in the Scottish Highlands.

Rosa is a converted Dutch Clipper barge and is featured in celebrated master chef and restaurateur Rick Stein?s French Odyssey  TV series. Cruising the canals of Gascony and Bordeaux in southwest France, Rosa offers exclusive excursions such as private wine tastings at the prestigious Ch?teau Bellevue la F?ret winery.  For the 2020 season guests will also enjoy an exclusive 'Tea with a Countess' at the 18th century Ch?teau de la Motte that includes a view of her private couture collection. They will also visit Moissac Abbey, a UNESCO World Heritage site.  With 20% off, it can be chartered for ?22,000 on selected departures, a saving of ?5,500 off the regular price of ?27,500; cabins start at ?2,552 per person, based on double occupancy, representing ?638 off the original price.
