Escape winter at Emerald Maldives Resort and Spa

Located on the Raa Atoll in the Northern Maldives archipelago, Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa have re-opened on August 1, 2020 with new COVID-19 testing available on site for all guests.

Emerald Maldives is set on 20 hectares of private island land and surrounded by 100 hectares of wrap-around reef in walking distance of the 1.7km beach. The endless azure blue sea, golden sand and green outdoor space ensures guests will truly feel like they’re on their own paradise island.

Aldo Scarapicchia, partner and chief operating officer of Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa, said: “We have measured the densities of construction on our island, resulting one of the three lowest percentages in all of the Maldives. This make us confident that we offer our guests wide spaces, privacy and tranquillity to enjoy a perfect and safe vacation.”

Operating on a Deluxe all-inclusive basis, Emerald Maldives is home to four atmospheric concept restaurants covering cuisine from every continent, including ‘Amazònico’, the Maldives latest South American restaurant and international cuisine from ‘Aqua’. Each of the restaurants have an open-air design and seating has been rearranged to ensure social distancing is possible, while maintaining intimacy for groups of guests.

Other resort highlights include the Emerald SPA - a haven of tranquillity set over 5000sqm with 10 private villas for Balinese and Thai style treatments as well as a relaxation area - and there are two large tennis courts, two padel courts, an air-conditioned Gym & Sports Centre and a dedicated Dolphin Kids Club with the largest outdoor area available in the Maldives, where young travellers can play carefree. Emerald is also home to a Club with 250mt of beach space, a diving Centre where guests are invited to discover the Maldivian marine life and coral reef guided by PADI qualified instructors, and the Water Sports Centre provides kayaks, windsurfs, sailing boats and jet skis for guests looking to explore the lagoon solo.

Emerald Maldives will be running a Winter ‘Sun Escape’ 20% off on the best available rate, for guests booking to stay between November 1 and December 27, 2020.
