Entertainment for all: MSC expands family offering onboard

The cruise line’s family programme will include new entertainment and services this summer which promise to provide an unforgettable experience for guests of all ages.

As part of the expanded family offering, MSC will provide a dedicated baby care service for children from six months old and up, enhancing its existing service of child care for those aged one and above. The service is offered in partnership with Chicco, a long-term collaborator with MSC Cruises.

Families also have the chance to participate in MSC Original Family Game Shows where the children are the stars. Following the success of MasterChef at Sea Juniors, Break the Wall and MSC Dance Crew, two new family game shows are now available within the programme: World Quest, a geography-based trivia game, and Caraviggio, a game of spies.

Teenagers now have more time to themselves as MSC has extended the club hours for young guests aged between 12-17. From 10am-1pm and 3pm-midnight, the on-board club will be open.

After the successful trials of Guinness World record activities aboard selected ships, the programme will now be extended across more vessels where families will have the chance to win a selection of prizes in the ultimate family record-breaking quiz show.

Global head of entertainment, Steve Leatham stated that the “heart of our business is family” which is why the cruise line “proudly offers a fleet wide family programme of entertainment and activities that resonates with our valued guests.”
