The cruise lines ninth river ship is set to sail itineraries on the Rhine, Main, and Danube rivers.
Emerald Luna was christened on July 21, 2022, in a ceremony that saw Rob Voss, COO of the Scenic Group; David Winterton, global director of brand & marketing for Emerald Cruises; Maggie Carbonell, vice-president of marketing, USA; Ann Chamberlin, vice president of sales, USA; and a number of embarking guests and local dignitaries.
David Winterton, said on the launch: ?The addition of Emerald Luna allows us to offer more sailings on our most popular river itineraries in Europe, with all the signature Emerald Cruises touches that guests have come to love ? from the pool that converts to a cinema to our sought-after EmeraldACTIVE programme.

The 180-guest ship features the line's innovative balcony design, complete with decked area and open-air system, in most cabins, along with an indoor pool with retractable roof and cinema on the ship's aft. The ship joined Emerald Sun, Sky, Star, Dawn, and Destiny on the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers across Europe.
