Emerald Cruises announces trio of new vessels

2027 will see the addition of three new Emerald Cruises vessels: one new European river ship (the line's first on the Seine) and two new superyachts

The trio of new vessels follow on from the upcoming debuts of Emerald Kaia and Emerald Astra, launching in April 2026.

Glen Moroney, Scenic Group's chairman and founder, described the trio of additions as "a transformational moment for Emerald Cruises... from our first yachts to today’s growing fleet, our vision remains clear: to deliver curated experiences in some of the world’s most captivating destinations – both by ocean and river."

Two new superyachts will join the upcoming Emerald Kaia in 2027; Emerald Raiya and Emerald Xara promise the same design cues as Kaia, all-suite accommodations and private cabanas on the Sky Deck. Both will accommodate up to 128 guests.

Emerald Lumi will be the brand's first river ship stationed on the Seine, hoping to modernise (yet stay true to) the French river cruise experience.

Continuing, Glen said of Lumi, "The Seine is a natural evolution for Emerald Cruises... we’re excited to bring our distinctive Emerald Cruises experience to France with this beautifully designed ship."
