Efteling, the theme park in southern Holland, will open a play forest called ?Nest!? for its youngest visitors, from early summer 2021.
Located in the Ruigrijk area, close to the other family rides and attractions, ?Nest!? will be an inclusive area for young children of all abilities. It will include some themed rides especially made for younger visitors who are not able to ride the bigger attractions of the park.
The path that runs through and around the play forest will be accessible for guests in wheelchairs, as well as varied play possibilities for children with visible and invisible disabilities. 'Nest!' will include a wheelchair slide and raised sandboxes, apart from other newer activities.
The new addition will be built amid the trees between De Vliegende Hollander Watercoaster and the Game Gallery, replacing the existing Polka Marina pirates carousel.
The construction project will start in January 2021, and the play forest will open in the summer of 2021.
Polka Marina will make its final round on November 30 and will be permanently closed after that. However, the attraction will be on display during Winter Efteling.
