EasyJet has confirmed the new route will be operational five days a week from March 27, 2023.
Seats are on sale now, with one way fares starting at £29.99. The Machester-Paris Orly route will offer customers more choice when planning their city getaway.
Chris Woodroofe, managing director at Manchester Airport, said, “We are thrilled that easyJet will be launching a service to Paris Orly airport, which is currently unserved from Manchester, adding another destination to our growing route network.
“The commitment to this five-times-weekly service underscores easyJet’s growth and investment in its Manchester base, which is great news for passengers who will benefit from a wider range of options when booking their next trip.”
The airline will also introduce an additional Airbus A320neo to its Manchester roster, bringing its total to 21 aircraft operating at the airport.
EasyJet’s county manager, Ali Gayward, commented, “We are delighted to announce a new route from Manchester to Paris Orly Airport, further strengthening our connection between the North-West and France’s capital and providing customers with more choice. The addition of a new aircraft will also create around 40 local job opportunities and is a symbol of our ongoing commitment to the airport.”
