The Jabal Akhdar property sits on the Saiq Plateau, five minutes from the Grand Canyon of the Middle East.
Dusit International, the Thailand-based hotel and property development firm, has expanded its Middle Eastern presence with the opening of the dusitD2 Naseem Resort, Jabal Akhdar, marking the brand's first expansion in Oman.
The deluxe resort sits within a new 8,000sqm adventure park on the Saiq Plateau, two hours by car from Muscat International Airport.
Hosting 252 rooms and suites, the contemporary resort offers panoramic views of the natural surroundings. Facilities include an all-day dining restaurant, a kids' club, and signature Namm spa with Thai-inspired massage therapies and treatments.
Event spaces include a 150-guest ballrooms with a number of adjoining meeting rooms.
The surrounding Adventure Park, set to open later this year, will offer zip-line rides around the surrounding valley and a petting zoo.
