Newly formed Castaway Hotels & Escapes is opening its first property, Drift Thelu Veliga Retreat Maldives, welcoming guests from October 15.
Located in the South Ari Atoll on the island of Thelu Veliga, the resort will offer ten detached beach villas with ocean views, and 20 villas located on stilts over the water.
In keeping with the honest and genuine beach experience, the retreat will offer a discreet selection of facilities, including an intimate spa, sunset-facing bar and one main restaurant. A variety of cuisine will be available, including local seafood with continental and Asian flavours, and classic Maldivian dishes. Other dining options, such as in-villa, on-the-beach private dinners, and seafood barbecues can also be arranged.
In addition to an array of diving and water-based excursions available to guests, romantic experiences, Maldivian nights and an outdoor cinema are also available.
