Dnata Travel Group brands report record-breaking start to peaks

Still basking in the light of Sunshine Saturday, Gold Medal, Pure Luxury, Cruise Plus and Incredible Journeys are well underway with a record-breaking start to the peaks campaign, with the brands already identifying popular destinations and booking habits.

Dubai's demand is far from dampening, with a 25% increase year-on-year. Asian demand is notably strong across Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Sri Lanka, with the latter growing by over 250% in room nights booked year-on-year.

Gold Medal, which is offering a US$200 Disney gift card with all Florida package bookings and up to four free nights, has seen 35% growth in room nights for the theme park capital and expects to see continued growth through 2025 with options for next year already on sale.

The group's managing director, Simon Applebaum, noted that agents are utilising the brands' sites to make bookings, with "web sales up 40% year-on-year which is really promising to see, following the enhancements we made last year to our online functionality."
