Disneyland Paris to rebrand second park

The former Walt Disney Studios Park will transform into Disney Adventure World when the upcoming World of Frozen opens.

Disney Adventure World will invite guests to step into their favourite stories, with the existing Marvel Avengers Campus, Worlds of Pixar, World of Frozen and more highlighting the move to immersive worlds from the 'behind-the-scenes' theming the park opened with in 2002.

Tom Fitzgerald, the chief storytelling executive at Walt Disney Imagineering, said the park is "evolving from “how it’s done” soundstages to celebratory theatres and adventures that come to life in immersive worlds.

"These fully realized adventure worlds will become the focus of the park’s new identity and appear as realms that guests discover as they navigate deeper within the park and are invited to participate in adventures inspired by our most beloved stories."

New areas including Adventure Bay and Adventure Way were confirmed to be coming to the resort's second park, featuring unique entertainment and a Tangled-themed spinner attraction, respectively.
