Discover South East Asian waterways with Scenic

With the release of its 2022/2023 South East Asia river cruising collection, Scenic Luxury Cruises has unveiled a selection of new experiences for guests sailing the waterways of South East Asia.

From private access to Angkor Wat after dark to new dining experiences and local village visits, guests travelling with Scenic will be welcomed in luxury and comfort. For those journeying the Mekong River, Scenic’s Scenic Spirit has a swimming pool, steam sauna, open-air cinema and a staff-to-guest ratio of almost 1:1.

To celebrate the release of the 2022/2023 season programme, Scenic is offering a guaranteed £2,000 per couple saving, as well as complimentary private door-to-door chauffeur-driven transfers when booked before October 31, 2021.

The 17-day Treasures of the Mekong Meandering Cruise consist of a nine-night river cruise and five-night land journey exploring the flavours, traditions and culture of Vietnam and Cambodia. After discovering Ho Chi Minh City, guests will explore the local industries in Cai Be, revel in Phnom Penh with a City Lights remork (tuk tuk) tour and visit a private distillery. Marvel at Angkor Wat, followed by a moving sunrise and champagne breakfast nearby. Guests can also enjoy a Gala Dinner with free-flowing drinks. Prices start from £4,350 per person (was £5,350) departing May 13, 2023.

Meanwhile, the 20-day Highlights of Vietnam, Cambodia & Luxury Mekong River cruise travels the same route, with added time to enjoy a visit to Hanoi and Halong Bay. While in Hanoi, guests will cook up a storm during an authentic cooking class before exploring one of the world’s most ancient capitals. Guests will explore Ho Chi Minh City by night with a Vespa foodie tour and attend a Phare Circus performance in Siem Reap. All of Scenic’s South East Asia river cruises will explore the melting pot of Ho Chi Minh City, with a new dining experience at Buffet NINETEEN - one of the city’s most popular seafood buffet and five-star dining experiences. Prices start from £6,235 per person (was £7,235) departing May 8, 2023.
