In response to increased demand for discovery-based experiences, the operator has introduced a selection of Discover More packages to the brand-new destination of Porto.
Discover More packages to the UNESCO World Heritage Site are now on sale from Manchester Airport for summer 2024/2025 and from Birmingham Airport for summer 2025. The launch of these packages follows the announcement that Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have brought forward the launch of Porto to summer 2024 due to exceptional demand.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks said that he is “delighted” to add Porto to the Discover More programme as travellers are now wanting to “experience it all on their holidays, whether that is adventure, culture, history or sightseeing.”
Some of the Porto packages include a wine tour of the Douro Valley where guests can enjoy the vineyards and sit back and relax on a leisurely Rabelo boat cruise in Pinhão. Holidaymakers also have the opportunity to dig deeper into the history of the city by exploring the labyrinthine streets before hitting the town and enjoying the buzzing nightlife.
Prices for the packages lead in from £589 per person for three nights at the four-star Porto Royal Bridges with the Douro Valley Wine Tour included.
