The business travel management company confirmed the integration at todays Business Travel Show, allowing clients to view, plan and discuss business trips via Microsoft Teams.
Direct APTI has launched its integration of the profile, invoice, approval and itinerary platform with Microsoft Teams.
The integration consolidates the business travel booking process, streamlining customer experience by utilising the same platform used every day by a host of clients.
Confirming the news at this year's Business Travel Show Europe, the company confirmed two phases to the integration: the first, already in action, allows customers to update traveller profiles and view, plan, approve and discuss business trips on the application.
Phase two is expected later this year, and will integrate Direct APTI's concierge service into Teams.
Jenny Thornton, director of Digital Services at Direct ATPI, said: "Direct ATPI has a long history of being one step ahead and defining new ways of working, and this innovation will continue to bring us closer to where our customers are, as well as appeal to the tech-savvy and time-conscious travellers of the future.
"This, alongside our partnership with Amadeus and their groundbreaking Cytric Easy platform with Microsoft Teams, really does stand us apart from the rest."
