DidaTravel commits to doubling revenue after record UK sales

The trade-only travel distribution company, which appointed a UK sales director at the tail end of 2023, celebrated record UK sales in 2024, committing to doubling yet again in 2025

2024 more than doubled 2023's outbound UK revenue, fuelling DidaTravel's ambition to double once again in 2025.

Paul Riches, DidaTravel's UK sales director, noted "significantly more" investment in "technology, product and customer care to support the UK trade, particularly over the last 18 months, and we are now reaping the benefits."

Paul's appointment, announced in November 2023, was the next step in DidaTravel's ongoing global expansion strategy, launched in 2018 after establishing its place as a market leader in its China and Asia Pacific source markets.

Over one million properties are now accessible through DidaTravel's platform, comprised of over 75,000 direct contacts.

Dubai, New York, Phuket, Paris and Tokyo were the most-booked destinations by Brits in 2024.

In May of last year, DidaTravel's chief marketing officer, Gareth Matthews, spoke on an opportunity that "offers huge potential" to travel agents.
