Daios Cove Luxury Resort & Villas, Crete will reopen tomorrow.
The five-star beach hillside resort, located in the secluded cove on the North-Eastern Crete, will be celebrating its tenth season with a new look and new culinary experiences.
Panos Almyrantis, general manager at Daios Cove, says: ?After a challenging start to the year, we feel very grateful and thrilled to be able to open the hotel for its milestone tenth season. We are humbled to know that after months of lockdown, there is a strong urge among people to travel and visit this resort. We have deeply missed connecting with the guests in person, and our reopening is a wonderful opportunity for providing high-standard hospitality that we have been known for. This year?s brand-new alfresco dining spaces and exciting collaborations have got us all very excited. We hope guests look forward to experiencing the ultimate summer holiday in Crete.?
The restaurant, which offers views of the Aegean Sea, has been revamped with a redesign featuring earthy textures and a rockery. Daios Cove has introduced an innovative culinary programme as a part of its collaboration with the Ducasse Conseil consultancy. New dishes combine fresh local produce and seasonal ingredients with a healthy lifestyle, while telling the story of Crete through the centuries. Meanwhile, Clumsies bar's team of mixologists has created inventive cocktails which can be enjoyed at the poolside lounge and bar. The second series of Daios Cove?s Culinary Journeys will see top class chefs, such as Pavlos Kyriakis showcase the best Greek dishes on August 6 and August 7, and Brazil's Rafael Cagali offering an unusual culinary experience, with Italian, Spanish and Brazilian influences on August 25.
For art lovers, Daios Cove will host an exhibition of art works at the Ocean by emerging artists from around the world in collaboration with Saatchi Art Gallery, including paintings, photography, sculpture and drawings for display, as well as works for sale.
Daios Cove will be open until October 30, 2020 with lead-in rates from ?274.
