Cunard to offer a series of UK staycation sailings

The summer voyages, aboard the Queen Elizabeth, are set to go on sale this month. 

Cunard has announced a series of UK voyages, providing UK cruisers with a staycation opportunity this summer. More details are set to be revealed when the cruises go on sale later this month, but all cruises will sale from Cunard's home port of Southampton, and seek out the best of the summer sun along the UK coast. All voyages will be protected by the cruise line's flexible booking policy, ensuring guests can book with confidence.  

The new schedule of UK staycation cruises will replace a number of international voyages that have to be cancelled due to current travel restrictions. 

Simon Palethorpe, Cunard president, explained: ?With the UK Government confirming that domestic travel is close on the horizon, we are introducing a series of exciting, shorter duration holidays for Brits looking for the perfect staycation in Cunard luxury this summer. These will be sailings from Southampton, for UK residents, around the UK and will make the very most of the summer sunshine."

Departures on Queen Victoria up to and including August 27, 2021, Queen Elizabeth's summer Mediterranean fly cruise season up to and including October 11, 2021, and Queen Mary 2's current programme up to and including November 12, 2021, have all been cancelled. 

All guests booked onto the cancelled cruises will receive 125% of their original fare in Future Cruise Credit, redeemable against any new booking made by the end of December 2021. Alternatively, 100% cash refunds are also available.
