Cunard announces new itineraries across its fleet

A series of new itineraries will fulfil the cruise lines schedules throughout 2021 and 2022.

Looking ahead to its resumption of operations from July 19, 2021, Cunard has unveiled a series of new international voyages through late 2021 and early 2022.

After a programme of staycation cruises aboard Queen Elizabeth from Southampton, the cruise line will host a season in Japan aboard the ship from April 13, 2022.

Queen Mary 2 will resume its voyages with a Transatlantic route on November 14, 2022, and will sail a series of voyages around the Caribbean between January and April 2022, with a choice of embarkations from Southampton, New York and Hamburg.

Queen Victoria will sail three new voyages from Southampton, starting on April 22, 2022, including Western Europe, Baltic and Iberian Coast ports of call.

Cunard president, Simon Palethorpe, said: ?On 19 July Queen Elizabeth?s crew and I will be welcoming guests on board as at long last we start our return to sailing.

?Sadly, the path for a return to sailing across international waters is less clear and we are extremely sorry for the huge disappointment cancellations will cause for all guests who have been affected. Unfortunately, there are simply too many international ports of call affected by the ongoing complexities of COVID-19, which has sadly led to this decision.

?We?re really excited about the new itineraries mentioned, such as Queen Mary 2?s sailings around the Caribbean, and hopefully these will appeal to those looking for some much needed winter sun and those looking for adventure later this year and in 2022.?

Voyages aboard Queen Elizabeth from October 18, 2021 to and including March 9, 2022 (from the UK to Australia, and the homeport season in Australia) have been cancelled, as well as 2022 World Voyages aboard Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria, with the latter's sailings from September 10, 2021, up to and including April 29, 2022 also being cancelled to make way for the new itineraries.

All cruisers on cancelled voyages will receive a Future Cruise Credit (FCC) worth 125% of the standard deposit terms and 100% of any additional fare paid. Full refunds are also available.
