CroisiEurope has announced that it will be offering Nile cruises from February 2020 when it charters the Steigenberger Royale.
The new eight-day cruise round trip from Luxor will take guests through over 2,000 years of history across the Land of Pharaohs.
Calling at Edfu, Aswan, Kom Obo and Abu Simbel, guests will be treated to majestic temples, tombs, pyramids and lively villages with highlights including: visits to the most beautiful sites of Upper Egypt: Karnak, Luxor, Edfu, Philae and Kom Ombo; an optional visit to the Sound & Light Show at the Karnak Temple Complex; an optional trip to Abu Simbel temples in the heart of the desert; meeting villagers in Aswan and Luxor and discovering their culture and customs; a tuk-tuk ride through the heart of Egyptian villages; and onboard services of an Egyptologist and tour guide who will provide great lectures .
The Steigenberger Royale can welcome up to 106 guests in 50 spacious cabins and features facilities such as a restaurant serving a mix of local and international cuisine, a large lounge and bar, a panoramic lounge and sun deck with a pool and a Jacuzzi.
There are a number of departures between February and December 2020 with cruise-only prices starting from ?1,364 per person for the eight-day cruise with all meals, some excursions, the services of an English-speaking Egyptologist, gratuities and port fees.
Also available is a pre-cruise programme offering three full days in Cairo with visits to the Giza Platea for the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx, Saqqara Necropolis, the Pyramid of Teti and the city?s colourful bazaar district.
