Over 100 nationwide medical premises will offer PCR and antigen tests across Costa Rica.
The Costa Rican Tourism Board (ICT) has collated a list of clinics and medical premises offering Covid-19 tests. These premises offer private antigen and PCR tests that international visitors can book before returning to countries that require a negative result upon return - a policy expected to continue in the UK once leisure travel resumes.
PCR test results can be delivered by email to guests within 48 hours, with antigen test results available within two hours.
Costa Rica's tourism minister, Gustavo Segura, Sancho, explained; ?Costa Rica is a safe destination to visit in 2021. The country has an exemplary healthcare system; easily accessible from the whole country; compulsory Covid-19 insurance to enter the country; reliable testing data; and clear protection protocols in place. We are really looking forward to welcoming our British friends again.?
Visitors from the UK can travel to Costa Rica providing they complete a digital epidemiological form and are protected by travel insurance covering quarantine accommodation and medical expenses due to Covid-19. When flying into Costa Rica, visitors do not need a negative PCR test.
