Mallorca will continue its streak of being the only destination to have hosted The Travel Convention in every decade since the 1970s when it hosts next year's edition of ABTA's flagship conference
Calvià, which sits between the Tramuntana mountains and the Med, will host next year's Travel Convention from October 6th to 8th, 2025.
The area has seen notable regeneration, including the ongoing redevelopment of Magaluf, over recent years.
Mark Tanzer, ABTA's chief executive, emphasised, "Mallorca is an incredibly important destination for the UK travel trade."
Delegates will be hosted at the adjoining Meliá Calvià Beach and Meliá South Beach resorts.
Mark added, "I’m looking forward to showcasing this outstanding venue to our delegates next year and would like to thank the hosts for welcoming us once again."
Despite the island hosting the gathering in every decade since the 1970s, 2025 will mark Calvià's first time playing host.
The host venue was announced on the closing day of 2024's Travel Convention, which Mark hoped would "shine a torch into the future and help us find the pathway forward."
