Consumer confidence returns for Newmarket Holidays

Newmarket Holidays has reported a healthy surge in sales over the past few weeks.

Richard Forde, Newmarket Holidays? agency sales manager, credits the recent rise in sales to an increased interest in UK-based holidays and late deals, particularly to Italy's Lake Garda.

Mr Forde believes the upsurge in sales is due to the company?s new flexible booking policy and wellbeing charter.

He said, ?Our new flexible booking policy allows customers to change their booking or cancel at no extra cost up to 21 days before departure. This policy was designed to help customers feel protected if their holiday is affected by last-minute changes. Based on recent sales, I believe that this policy is working and inspiring confidence in agents and our customers.?

The company?s wellbeing charter details the steps Newmarket Holidays has taken to decrease risks to their guests and staff on tours.

Mr Forde added, ?While there were no tours during lockdown, we used that time to plan how we would bounce back when the market begins to recover. Our wellbeing charter incorporates, enhanced cleaning procedures, COVID-19 insurance, pre-tour health declarations in some destinations and others.?
