Club Med has opened 2019/2020 bookings for winter and announced the opening of a new property, Club Med Alpe d?Huez, following a full renovation and upgrade.
Bookings to the new resort can be made from January 23 when the holiday operator opens its winter 2019/2020 sales.
The 4T ski resort situated in the French Alps, has been completely rebuilt and benefits from an incredible location with 300 days of sunshine per year. The ski-in, ski-out resort offers direct access to the Alpe D?Huez Grand Domaine 250km of slopes (access through lift pass included in the all-inclusive package) suited for every skill level.
The resort has four kids clubs with dedicated areas from four months to 17 years old, a new Spa by Payot, indoor and outdoor pools with paddling areas for children, a new restaurant and gourmet lounge offering all day dining options as well as a wine cellar and a lounge bar. The property now comes with a family-fun area including new playgrounds for kids, as well as walls to draw on, modular furniture, board games and climbing walls. The resort also offers an adults-only wellness room complete with an area for yoga and meditation.
Club Med Alpe d?Huez will open on December 15.
Customers can also look to book Club Med Mich?s Playa Esmeralda, which is the brand?s first 5-Trident resort to open in the Caribbean. The 93-acre resort in the Dominican Republic is located in Mich?s on the northeast coast. It has been designed to keep as much of the ecological essence of the property and the surrounding area as possible. The resort will also enact a no plastic straw initiative as part of Club Med?s global commitment to eliminate single-use plastics from all of its resorts.
Bookings across the brand's 28 resorts will open from Wednesday, 23rd January when holidaymakers can begin booking their winter 2019/2020 getaways.
To celebrate the opening of winter bookings, the company is offering customers a guaranteed 15% off holidays booked from January 23-26. The discount will be available on all departure dates, with children under four staying for free in all ski resorts and under six in all sun resorts.
