Club Med announces Magna Marbella

The brand's first Spanish resort in 20 years is set to open its doors next year.

All-inclusive resort pioneer Club Med has announced its return to Spain, 20 years in the making.

Its latest Spanish resort, Club Med Magna Marbella, is nestled at the foot of the Sierra Blanca Mountains, and is scheduled to open its doors to guests in spring 2022.

Magna Marbella is a 20 minute walk from the sandy Mediterranean coastline and Marbella's city centre, as well as an hour drive from Gibraltar, Ronda, and Malaga.

On-property, guests will be able to explore 14 hectares of garden, five swimming pools including a family waterpark, two restaurants, and three bars.

Club Med's children's club will also be at young guests' disposal, with activities suitable for 4-month-olds to 17-year-olds.

A wellness area with 14 treatment rooms including a relaxation room and steam room will offer a host of treatments, as well as an adult-only Zen pool and fresh fruit juices at its Sierra Blanca bar.

Estelle Giraudeau, managing director of Club Med UK and Northern Europe comments, “After more than twenty years, we’re looking forward to bringing the Club Med brand back to Spain with the launch of Club Med Magna Marbella. The resort offers the perfect blend of luxury, experiences, and cultural adventures for both families and couples alike.”

From October 12 to 14, 2021, the resort is offering 15% off all resorts, including Magna Marbella, for bookings up until October 2022.
