CLIA travel agent summer school returns

Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has announced its trade ?summer school? series will return across July and August.

The hour-long virtual classroom comprises a mix of four cruise lines, destinations and associated suppliers per session, who will each provide a 15-minute product update or training brief to agents.

The sessions are held live so attendees can access the industry?s latest information, as well as ask questions in real time.

The summer school will begin on July 8 at 9.30am with representatives from CroisiEurope, Saga, Scenic & Emerald Cruises and Virgin Voyages. Sessions will then take place on consecutive Thursdays, again from 9.30am, until the end of August.

Andy Harmer, CLIA UK and Ireland director, said: ?Our summer school was particularly well-received by the trade last year, so we?re pleased to welcome it back by popular demand. It will be the go-to event for agents looking to get the very latest cruise information, as the industry continues to open up across the UK. We?re looking forward to welcoming the trade back into the virtual classroom again.?

CLIA member travel agents can attend the summer school for free via cruising.org
