A questionnaire is set to be sent to almost 10,000 member agents across the UK in search of their views on sustainability and responsible travel.
Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) are set to use the results to shape future trade-friendly resources and training materials about cruise line leadership, eco-technologies and sustainable practices.
Questions cover agent's awareness about sustainable activities, client feedback and areas of interest, and preferred tools to gain insight and know-how.
CLIA's managing director for the UK & Ireland, Andy Harmer, explained: "Sustainability is an absolute priority for the industry. We are committed to helping agents to develop their all-round knowledge of everything we are doing, to support our vision for net zero carbon cruising by 2050.
"We would encourage member agents to fill in this survey as it will shape our future plans, as well as better support them to assist customers and colleagues. The more we can work in partnership alongside each other the better equipped we will be to meet our climate ambitions. Everyone's view counts."
