Classic Collection Holidays offer agent training to support Indian Ocean roll out

Classic Collection Holidays has rolled out its new Indian Ocean programme and is inviting agents to join online training on November 19, with a chance to win free stays at Indian Ocean properties and a selection of Fortnum and Mason gifts.

The training comes as the operator announces a host of new appointments to bolster its worldwide and complex personalised itinerary expertise. The operator has appointed four new worldwide travel consultants with over 60 years of combined experience in luxury long-haul travel. Jordan Torrilla has taken the role of product and purchasing manager for Africa, Asia, Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

Si Morris-Green, agency sales and marketing director, said: “Classic is bringing its brand of attentive service and expertise in crafting personalised luxury holidays to the Indian Ocean. Agents will be aware how much our portfolio of long-haul destinations has grown recently, and can be reassured that behind the brochures we’ve been busy appointing the most trusted destination management companies, recruiting experienced long-haul travel consultants and engaging a product team for Africa, Asia, Sri Lanka and the Maldives.”

Online training is scheduled for 10am on Thursday, November 19 and will focus on key destinations including the Maldives, Sri Lanka and Mauritius, presented by Jordan Torrilla and Gemma Lazenby, Classic’s national account manager. Classic has produced a promotional video of the region which will be available as a download to assist agents in selling the destinations to customers. Classic’s new “Your World” brochure will be available in both printed and digital version in early 2021.

Agents can register for a place by emailing agencysales@classic-collection.co.uk
