Guests can experience the landscapes of Kruger National Park and Maasai Mara with live virtual tours.
Luxury operator Classic Collection Holidays has unveiled a unique opportunity to explore the landscapes of Kruger National Park, South Africa and the Maasai Mara, Kenya, in a live virtual safari experience.
The events will include a guided game drive with local rangers followed by a live Q&A session.
Participants will visit a private 'Big Five' game reserve, with a chance to spot lions, leopards, buffalo, elephants and rhinos in their natural habitat, whilst learning about the research and conservation that takes place.
Director of sales and marketing, Si Morris-Green, explained: "As with all safaris we can't guarantee what our customers will get to see, but they will get the chance to experience some of the excitement and anticipation that a safari delivers, direct from their home. At a time when people can only plan to travel, it's great to be able to bring the authentic experience of a game drive, in real time and from two of the world's most famous game reserves, into the homes of our customers."
The first live event, showcasing the Kruger National Park, will take place on March 17, 2021 at 2:30pm via Zoom. The following day will see the operator broadcast its Maasai Mara live event via its Facebook page.
