TUI River Cruises reveals 2021 winter programme

TUI River Cruises revealed details of its winter 2021 programme of four new Christmas Day and New Year itineraries in addition to their two Christmas Market itineraries, Mistletoe & Rhine and Yuletide Wonders, all taking place on the river Rhine.

Onboard, your cruisers can expect traditional mulled wine, festive film screenings and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree in the atrium. The river cruise line will also be offering delicious regional Christmas dishes in the restaurants as well as festive favourites from home. In addition, your guests can enjoy local traditional Christmas entertainment.

The festivities continue ashore as your customers can visit the 100-year-old carousel and the famous life-sized manger from Bethlehem in Dusseldorf; take in Strasbourg?s Christkindelsm?rik's Christmas tree standing at 107 feet tall and decorated with over 400 baubles; or enjoy the views of the Black Forest from the scenic Baden-Baden?s market. All TUI River Cruise bookings come with ?85 credit per five-night itinerary and ?120 credit per seven-day itinerary to put towards any shore excursion bookings.

Those sailing on the 'Rhine Christmas Charms' or 'A Festive Fairy Tale' itineraries will be onboard for Christmas Day, where the celebrations will commence with mulled wine and carols. Cruisers will enjoy a drinks reception before tucking into a traditional Christmas dinner with all the trimmings and surprise guest acts will make the sailing even more special. And, those who welcome in the New Year with TUI River Cruises will be able to celebrate at a gala dinner followed by a party and the traditional countdown to midnight. The following morning, partygoers will be able to make the most of a sumptuous New Year?s Day brunch.

The river cruise line is also offering two further itineraries next winter, giving customers the opportunity to experience some of Europe?s most magical Christmas markets. The 'Mistletoe & Rhine' itinerary, available on TUI Isla & TUI Maya, will head to some of the biggest and oldest markets in Germany - Cologne, Dusseldorf and Koblenz which has over 100 stalls on offer and is located in the old quarter. Both ships will also sail the 'Yuletide Wonders' itinerary which includes Speyer.
