Chile updates visitor entry requirements

As of September 1, 2022, visitors to Chile must present a vaccination certificate against COVID-19, or if unvaccinated, produce proof of a negative PCR test carried out within 48 hours before departure.

?This improvement consists of a simplification. From September 1, 2022, non-residents who enter the country will need proof of vaccination, issued in the country where they have been vaccinated, in addition to identity documentation,? explained Minister Yarza. ?Visitors without up-to-date vaccinations will have to do so with a negative PCR issued within a maximum of 48 hours. This will guarantee safety on the flight and in the country.? Yarza continued.
