Century Cruises restarts Yangtze River cruises

The first voyage launched on March 12, 2021 across seven of the cruise lines fleet.

Century Cruises has restarted its Yangtze river cruises, running seven of their ships at 75% capacity.

The cruise line met a number of government-mandated safety measures, including a face covering requirement in all venues, deep sanitation of high touch areas, capacity control, social distancing, as well as improved ventilation systems.

All of the cruise line's staff and crew have been vaccinated.

Throughout 2021, Century Emerald will sail a round trip from Chongqing on the four-day/three-night or five-day/four-night 'Yangtze Adventure'.

The cruise line's Platinum ship, Century Legend, will sail four long cruises from Shanghai to Chongqing on a 15-day journey through seven provinces and eight ancient cities, providing a diverse itinerary that ticks off some of the regions' bucket list spots along the way.

Originally intended to launch in September 2021, the cruise line's new ship, Century Victory, will instead launch in March 2022 due to material delays.
