Catalan Tourist Board's 'Grand Tour of Catalonia'

Guests can experience all the territory has to offer at a leisurely pace, avoiding the crowds while ticking off the authentic highlights.

The Catalan Tourist Board has collated an over 2,000-kilometre route that includes all the region's highlights and hidden gems across five sections.

The first leg plots from Barcelona to Tarragona, the second on to Lleida, the third on to Seu d'Urgell, the fourth to Figueres, ending with a return journey to Barcelona.

Each section can be tailor made with different highlights depending on route and method of travel chosen.

Highlights include Delta de l'Ebre, the Pyrenees, Val d'Aran, the volcanic area of La Garrotxa Natural Park and Montseny, among more.

Scenic routes will showcase the art, history, gastronomy, landscapes, people and traditions of the unique territory, which sits between the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees.
