The daily service from London Heathrow to Kigali has taken flight, which the airline's CEO has described as a "testament to the growing demand."
Flights are operated aboard RwandAir's A330 fleet, departing London Heathrow at 9:20 pm every day and arriving in Kigali at 7 am the following morning.
Return flights alternate departure times, leaving Kigali at either 11:25 pm or 1:45 am and landing at London Heathrow at 7 am or 9:50 am.
Yvonne Makolo, the airline's CEO, noted "impressive growth in our north-south traffic, especially with our London Heathrow route," continuing: "These direct daily flights are a testament to the growing demand from customers both in the UK and Africa, and we look forward to welcoming more visitors to our beautiful land of a thousand hills."
