British Airways bolsters Barbados capacity

The inaugural service aboard the British Airways 787-10 Dreamliner took flight this weekend, bolstering capacity to the Grantley Adams International Airport.

Aligning with the 70th anniversary of British Airways debuting services to Barbados on April 1st, this summer's bolstered capacity represents a 10% increase on standard capacity.

Cheryl Carter, the UK director of Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc., said: "We are truly honoured that British Airways has chosen to deploy its prestigious Dreamliner 787-10 aircraft to Barbados.

"This shows BA’s confidence in the robust passenger demand for travel between the UK and Barbados."
