p> Bristol Airport staff will be hitting the road this week to visit more than 100 independent travel agents across the South West and Wales.

People from all areas of the organisation will be temporarily bolstering the sales team to spread the word about the benefits of flying from the region?s leading Airport this summer.

The tour of travel agents will take in Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, South Wales, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.

Jason Wescott, head of sales and marketing at Bristol Airport, said: ?Getting people from across the Airport to visit agents is a great way of reinforcing the message that the High Street remains of vital importance to our business. ?It also gives us a chance to address any issues out there in the marketplace ahead of this key late booking period for the summer season, as well as showcasing the strong ski programme in place this winter.?

In addition to highlighting the range of destinations available from Bristol, the team will also be promoting the services available at the Airport, from car parking to shops and restaurants, both areas in which improvements have been made in the last 12 months.
