'Breast Trek Ever' sees Not Just Travel agents earn £10,000 for charity

21 Not Just Travel consultants and members of the business' corporate team donned pink to complete the Inca Trail, raising over £10,000 for breast cancer charity Pink Ribbon Foundation

The group has returned to the UK after starting the trek on October 9th, 2024, in partnership with G Adventures.

Taking on the 25-mile challenge saw the group trek around nine hours a day, one night waking up at 2 am to kick off the final stretch.

Laura Simpson, head of experiences and operations, said, "I’ve done marathons and ultramarathons, but this is the hardest thing I've ever done.

"There have been highs and lows along the way with tears and many of us struggling with altitude sickness but we’ve also had an incredible time getting to know each other and our amazing guides who have carried our supplies, fed us and kept us going."

Lisa Allen, a spokesperson for the Pink Ribbon Foundation, described the feat as "simply astonishing," noting that the charity is "incredibly grateful to each and every one of them."

Tom Buck, G Adventures' global purpose specialist, added, "For some, it was the toughest challenge of their lives, but there’s so much power in coming together to raise funds for such an important cause."
