The brand will begin antigen and PCR tests on-property.
Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts has begun on-site antigen and PCR tests for COVID-19. The tests will be carried out by approved health service operators in the hotels and resort's respective companies.
Antigen tests are available from US$30, whilst PCR results start from US$89. Guests can receive the results of their tests anywhere from instantly at their appointment to approximately 72 hours after the test is completed, depending on the property's facilities and the type of test undertaken.
As well as beginning the testing programme, Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts has also announced that extended stays due to quarantine or a positive test result at check-out will be provided at no cost for up to 10 days, for both the affected guest and companion sharing a room in the designated isolation area. This applies to all guests with a minimum three-night stay through March 31, 2021.
