Banyan Tree opens the Angsana Corfu Resort

Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts first European property is set to open this spring.

Worldwide luxury hotel brand Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts is set to expand its portfolio with a new property on the Greek island of Corfu, the Angsana Corfu. 

The property will offer 159 rooms and suites, from spacious double rooms to apartment suites with expansive balconies overlooking the Mediterranean. The resort will also host 37 chic, private pool villas inspired by classic Venetian architecture, offering a unique blend of seclusion and luxury, whilst providing access to all of the resort's premium facilities. 

On-site facilities include four restaurants and seven lounge bars, including a beach bar. Dining options will include locally-inspired cuisine and Pan Asian options, as well as the fine dining option Botrini's, led by Michelin-starred Italian chef Ettore Botrini. 

Spas are often a highlight of Angsana proprties, and the new Corfu resort will offer a number of massage and therapy treatments across 11 treatment rooms, as well as an indoor heated pool, seaview jacuzzi and outdoor massage pavilions. The spa hopes to offer luxury-inspired wellness treatments to let guests kick back and relax on their holiday.

Facilities for all the family will also be on offer, from Corfu's largest infinity outdoor pool, indoor swimming pools, a gym, private fitness lessons, an outdoor yoga pavilion and watersports on the beach. Options for children include the Rangers' Club, the brand's signature kids' club, and a kids' pool, to ensure all the family can enjoy a relaxing, carefree getaway at the resort.
