The river cruise line has previously offered flights as an optional add-on: from April 3rd, 2024, all prices are quoted with return airfare from London or Manchester, as well as overseas transfers between airport and ship, as standard.
Cruise-only options, regional departures and Business upgrades will be available on request, but the move to flight-inclusivity has been rolled out, as Jamie Loizou, managing director for the UK stated, "to make it as convenient and efficient as possible for agents to reserve an AmaWaterways river cruise for their clients."
With flight-inclusive options standard across European waterways, the standardisation also applies to long-haul journeys on the Mekong, Nile, Chobe and Magdalena rivers.
Quotes continue to include all meals, wine, beer and soft drinks with lunch and dinner, a daily 'Sip and Sail' cocktail hour, and up to eight excursions a day as standard.
