The river cruise line has witnessed its agent distribution growth increase by 21% so far this year as it continues to see more individual travel agency sales than ever before
Jamie Loizou, managing director at AmaWaterways, said, “The whole UK team works tirelessly to build new relationships and to strengthen our existing partnerships. We are delighted that our hard work is getting results, but with six ships being added to the fleet in 2025 we aren’t resting on our laurels.
“Our ethos has always been to focus our efforts on working with the trade, with bookings via our trade partners accounting for the vast majority of our business.”
Trade sales for 2024 have risen by over 65% compared to the same period last year. AmaWaterways offers its agent partners a range of marketing and sales assets to help sell, including a comprehensive Travel Agent portal featuring educational webinars. Alongside the on-hand assets, the company’s ‘Sell Three, Sail Free’ incentive rewards agents for their hard work.
