The latest addition to the Amadeus fleet, the five-star Amadeus Cara, was christened against the backdrop of Cologne Cathedral.

Following the naming ceremony with godmother Anna L?ftner, director of digital marketing for Amadeus River Cruises, guests were treated to a short cruise on the Rhine.

The 135-metre Amadeus Cara can accommodate a maximum of 163 guests.

On board, there are a variety of bar areas with the views of the river landscapes including the River Terrace at the bow, the Amadeus Club at the stern, the Caf? Vienna in the lobby area and the Panorama Bar with dance floor. There is also a spacious sundeck featuring a lounge that can be fully utilised even on stretches of river with low bridge crossings, as well as a wellness area with massage and a fitness room.
