Alison Cryer recognised with an MBE for services to hospitality and tourism

The founder of Representation Plus was recognised in the New Years Honours List, reflecting her dedication to the industry across a number of bodies.

Alison Cryer has been recognised in the New Years Honours List with an MBE for services to the hospitality and tourism industry. 

Alison founded Representation Plus in 1987 to develop and export British skills in marketing across the world, with her team working for a number of international hotel groups, cities, regions, and destinations. 

Along with her work with Representation Plus, Alison has sat on a voluntary basis for not-for-profit organisations including the Institute of Travel & Tourism, the Tourism Society, and ANTOR. 

“I am honoured and humbled by this accolade and would like to thank my team past and present, amazing clients, industry colleagues, boards and members of the associations who I have been privileged to work alongside throughout my career for their support, faith and inspiration that has helped me to serve my industry,” commented Alison Cryer MBE.
